some a-hole didnt look while switching lanes,cut me off,cut me off going 40 mph tried going into a goodyear parking lot,hit one of them curbs that u park at and fishtailed me into a hue telephone pole,knokced it down and knocked out power to half the town and business's...both front and side airbags went off,my girlfriend suffered a serious concussion and i myself suffered bruised ribs a broken pinky,and we both are having serious neck,shoulder and back injurys,and the douche fled the scene...what im happy about is that im alive for one,the second part is that my airbags were dis engaged 2 days ago,and i fixed them with my scan tool a day before this happend,we wouldve been dead,cherish life and i forever feel more safe in the air then on the road,and yes,my life flashed before my eyes,but all i saw was me freefalling

Just a quick hello, im Chris, did a tandem 8 years ago and hated it......so much so that i did AFF 2weeks later and now nearly 1300 jumps later, earn my living filming Tandems at http://www.bpslangar.co.uk/default.a...2-ecbedfdc85d6
in the Historic Vale of Belvoir. where the weather is always warm and sunny,ok....maybe not, but its a great DZ:D

Hi, my name is Emma and I live and jump in the UK.

My journey started in July 2006 when I did what I thought was going to be a one off parachute jump (static-line on a round). I knew instantly that this was the sport I wanted to be a part of, so I spent the next 9 months saving every penny I had and went off to Spain in April 2007 to do my AFF.

I have been jumping just shy of 3 years now, have 222 jumps and loving it. For now I only do FS jumping and have just helped put together an 8-way team. We hope to compete in a new fun web based competition to be run by the BPA with the aim being to introduce and make 8-way more popular ......... let's see how that goes! I hope to try the dark side later in the year, however I'm happy learning FS and big way skills for now.

These are the rules for voting for a member of the month.
Voting starts now and will end on March 31st. All voting takes place in this thread.
A poll will follow after the 31st of March for the 2 nominees with the most votes.

ive noticed in videos some AFF students having walkie talkies strapped to their helmets,which are bigger than a go pro,what about using the go pro after a good 50-60 jumps,take a little course on learning how to pull differently,and bam there you go,all the jumpers need is to know that getting that perfect shot isnt to important for now,if it was me id just practice keeping the cam focused on my heading,then switching the heading to practice solo,maybe a first the beach,then the sun,then the a random cloud,what do you think?

alright,so i know alot of people would like to see go pro HD footage and still pictures,i have a video taken with my go pro hd,and one takens with a regular mini dv 3ccd panosonic camcorder,the difference is amazing,but what im taking a video of is a big hill where we all drink and go drunken sled riding,EVERYTIME i go there,i get a stupid idea and i think of having my friends help me hold up my canopy open,and me running off and having 2 seconds of joy flying down,is the hill big enough? i know i'd probably have to run,jump and flare right away to get up,but hey,id rather ask before trying,ive seen a friend do the same thing on a different hill,maybe im jsut going stir crazy from not jumping...heres the vids,comparisons,and the stills are taken with the go pro also.enjoy,and please see if i can do this,hahaha
